"All The Man That I Need" - Sister Sledge/Luther Vandross
"Tainted Love" - Soft Cell
- Judges: Randy said he started out rough. Paula said he has great vocals. Simon said the performance was horrible and hated the arrangement.
"Another Day In Paradise" - Phil Collins
- Judges:Randy said good performance, but that he had a couple of pitch problems. Paula said he is perfect for this competition. Simon said he wasn’t as good as last week, but that he will probably be in the final two.
"Hello" - Lionel Richie
- Judges: Randy said he had a great arrangement. Paula said he was fabulous. Simon said he is very brave and that he loved the performance.
"It's All Coming Back To Me Now" - Pandora's Box/Meatloaf
- Judges:Randy said nice song choice, but that sometimes he overshoots the notes. Paula said he is becoming a very good performer. Simon said he was not as good as last week, and he prefers him to sing soul songs.
"Hallelujah" - Leonard Cohen
- Judges:Randy gave him props and said “good looking out.” Paula said he made a difficult song sound effortless. Simon said "absolutely brilliant" performance.
"Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" - Wham!
- Judges: Randy said it was a surprising song choice. Paula said she loved his interpretation. Simon said he did not like the song and called it “weak” and “girly.”
"Don't You (Forget About Me)" - Simple Minds
- Judges: Randy said he loved the performance. Paula said it was a perfect song, and that he had low range vocal strength. Simon said he liked the performance, but didn’t love it.
