I think they should give the dog back. Why take the dog out of a loving home? The shelter deserves the bad rap because they took the dog away from children.

Dog Controversy
Not fair! She should totally keep the dog. It's a loving home, anyway!!

Iggy
Some people just really get off on being the "decider". The rescue agency isn't doing anything good for Iggy and is probably hurting it's image overall. If the goal is to find good, safe homes for the pets, the agency is fighting it's own goal. The supposed rule of not placing small dogs in homes with children under 14 years old is just rediculous. It makes sense to have an age limit to protect small dogs but that age should be 8 - 10; mainly to protect small dogs from over-zealous toddlers. Mutts and Moms needs to get off it's high-horse!

Get Help!
Britney needs to get help! I can't believe she's even allowed to drive. She should take a break from the spotlight and stay home with her momma - maybe she can help her get her babies back!!

The agency should have reviewed the hairdresser's family to see if they were suitable to keep the dog instead of being bully's and just remove the dog from a loving home. Maybe they wanted to get another$3,000 for Iggy. It doesn't sound like this agency has the dog's best interest at heart. Ellen just get the kids another dog, and be done with it.

Ok people, it's a dog. Don't get me wrong I love animals. But come on, taking an animal away from suitable home is nuts. This angency is treating this like a child. Again, I am an animal lover. Seriously, I can see a child being taken away, but it's a pet. It's not like Ellen just dropped off the dog to a homeless person whom she didn't know. Not only did they take the dog away, but not to give it back.....shame on them. I hope they learn their lesson from this.

Iggy and Ellen and dog lovers/animal rescuers everywhere
Now we have reports of Iggy’s death?!! Oh please!! did poor little Iggy sit in front of the TV and put Ellen's pleas on a loop to watch 24/7 and then get chased by paparazzi to be so stressed out? I sincerely hope that post was just for attention by some misguided individual.
Iggy is obviously very well loved and while he's being bounced around which I'm sure is confusing, it does appear that he's going to people the genuinely want him and will presumably (hopefully) provide him with a very loving home. That being said, I work in animal rescues, and the animals I take in are usually abandoned so I hate to see them bounced between households as I feel stability is important to everyone, people and animals alike. I would have had the hairdresser's family fill out the paperwork and let the dog be. Yes Ellen apparently missed a portion of the contract but she didn't bring Iggy to the pound or abandon him, she gave him to a friend and co-worker and believed he'd be better cared for in that home than in her home with her cats. How is it wrong to put the dog's welfare first?
To "Mom’s and Mutts" - this is a lot of free publicity for your rescue organization and for the animals you obviously love and care for -- doesn't it matter more that the dog is in a stable loving home than you having Ellen punished for not abiding by every dotted "I" and crossed "T" in your adoption agreement? I don't wish to vilify you but I do wish to point out that there is a much more reasonable approach to this entire situation in which everyone would be benefit and the animals that need rescuing (and your agency most of all) would reap the greatest of the rewards --- not to mention IGGY!! People who love animals get very impassioned but please, can’t we all just get along? Let’s do what needs to be done for those who can’t help themselves in the most mature, loving and reasonable way possible
